Design Diary 6 October

Of course after rest we were all buzzing with ideas again, from fortune wheels to tents and tunnels. No idea was ever rejected before it was explored and for this reason it often led to another idea. The weather calmed down and we all decided that we needed inspiration from our route again. A number of us had used our free time to re-explore the route so it was becoming more and more familiar. Concentrating on the idea of a game some of us spent more time around the arcades, a sure attraction of fun and games, however tacky it looks. One could say we weren’t sure of a final idea quite yet but we were certainly absorbing the sights and smells, allowing ourselves to sit back and just observe. We were getting to know our fellow group members as much as we were getting to know the route. More and more I realised how this project was far too big to be completed by an individual and so we all benefited from the others, sharing all our findings.
